Back in the early 80's and all through the 90's the DC DANCE BAND roamed around California playing gigs here and there. The band consisted of  two original members of the David Chalmers band, and various artists living as California musicians. The bandleader, David Chalmers, was always involved with the music business in many different areas. These being recording, radio promo, and signing new artists to his record label. He used up most of his savings blowing it on all sorts of bands and solo artists. In the end he was dirt broke, and burned out beyond all recognition. The band, many of who worked with Dave in his artistic endeavors finally broke up sometime in the 90's. There is a large catalog of songs all recorded during this period, and they will soon be available on mp3.
